Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Terms of Use") carefully before using the ChainTx.Tools website (the "Service") operated by us ("we", "us", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

ChainTx.Tools provides a web-based interface that helps users interact with various blockchains.

  • We are not a wallet provider, exchange, or financial institution.
  • We do not have custody over your funds, private keys, or passwords.
  • We do not facilitate the purchase or sale of cryptocurrencies.

2. Non-Custodial & Client-Side Operations

You acknowledge and agree that the Service is non-custodial and operates on the client-side:

  • Private Keys: Your private keys are generated and stored locally in your browser (using localStorage and IndexedDB). They are never transmitted to our servers.
  • Control: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your private keys and your device. If you lose your private keys or if your device is compromised, we cannot recover your funds.
  • Data Deletion: You are responsible for clearing your browser data if you use ChainTx.Tools on a public or shared computer.

3. Assumption of Risk

By using the Service, you accept the risks associated with blockchain technology, including but not limited to:

  • Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you send funds to the wrong address, they are lost forever.
  • Technical Risks: Bugs, glitches, or failures in the underlying blockchain protocols or the Service software.
  • Market Risks: The volatility of cryptocurrency prices.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ChainTx.Tools, its operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Service by any third party.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms, including but not limited to:

  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.

6. No Financial Advice

The information provided on ChainTx.Tools is for informational and utility purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice. You should conduct your own research before engaging in any cryptocurrency transaction.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operators are located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Intellectual Property & Code Usage

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to the source code, design, and user interface) are and will remain the exclusive property of ChainTx.Tools.

STRICT PROHIBITION: You are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, modifying, or distributing the source code of ChainTx.Tools. You may not host, deploy, or run our code on any other server, domain, or website (often referred to as "mirroring") without our express written permission.

Unauthorized use of our code or design for commercial or non-commercial purposes on other platforms constitutes a violation of copyright laws and these Terms.
