Solana NFT Incinerator

Clean your wallet: burn spam and unwanted NFTs in bulk and get back the SOL locked in their token, metadata and edition accounts. The exact amount is simulated before you sign.

Notes: Burning is permanent. Burned NFTs can't be recovered. Only burn NFTs without value — check the collection's floor price before burning.

Why burning NFTs gives SOL back

Every Solana NFT keeps several accounts alive — the token account, the metadata account, the master edition and, for pNFTs, a token record. Each of them holds a rent deposit. Burning the NFT with Metaplex burnV1 closes all of these accounts and returns their deposits to your wallet — about 0.007–0.008 SOL per legacy NFT or pNFT. Metaplex Core assets are a single account; burning one returns everything except a 1-byte stub. The tool scans your wallet, shows images, names and collections, estimates the SOL for your selection, simulates the burn and sends several burns per transaction. The service fee — 0.001 SOL per NFT (0.0005 SOL per Core asset) — is far below the rent each burn returns, so you still get SOL back.

How it works

  1. Connect your wallet and scan it — every NFT is listed with its image, collection and standard.
  2. Select the NFTs to burn: filter by collection or standard, search by name.
  3. Run the simulation: you see the exact SOL returned and the number of transactions.
  4. Confirm, sign once per batch and watch the results; failed items can be retried.

Features

  • Legacy NFTs, pNFTs, print editions and Metaplex Core assets.
  • Closes the token, metadata, edition and token-record accounts — maximum rent back.
  • Exact SOL back after the 0.001 SOL per NFT (0.0005 SOL per Core asset) service fee, from on-chain simulation before signing.
  • Several burns per transaction, one approval per batch.
  • Locked, staked or listed NFTs are detected and skipped with the reason.

FAQ

How much SOL do I get back?

About 0.007–0.008 SOL per legacy NFT or pNFT (older accounts were created with higher rent and return more) and about 0.0009 SOL per Core asset, minus the service fee of 0.001 SOL per NFT (0.0005 SOL per Core asset). The rent is always larger than the fee; the simulation shows the exact net amount before you sign.

Can a burned NFT be recovered?

No. Burning destroys the NFT permanently. Only burn NFTs you are sure have no value — check the floor price first.

Why can't I burn some NFTs?

NFTs that are staked, listed for sale or frozen by a delegate can't be burned until they are unlocked or delisted. Compressed NFTs aren't supported by this tool yet.

Is it safe?

Transactions are built in your browser and signed by your wallet; nothing is sent before you approve. Each transaction is simulated first, so a failing burn is never sent.
